Seth's 16th birthday

It's been a couple of weeks.....  Seth turned 16!

Our only car broke down the night before Seth's birthday.  The dealership failed to communicate to me and the whole thing was a 4 day long fiasco.  I begged for a refund, but they declined.  They did fix the car and went above and beyond, but it was extremely frustrating.

Birthday Tradition:  We usually blow up balloons and wake the birthday person up by singing to them "Happy Birthday."  We continued this in the RV. Scott, Elanor, Eric, Amelia, and now Seth.

There was a BB gun left behind.  Seth got BB's as a gift too.

Seth's birthday also marked the first day of their online classes.

With no car, we decided to take the RV to Branson.  Seth wanted to go to the Ripple's Believe It or Not Odditorium.  So we went!

I am still in awe every time I see a horse and buggy on the freeway!

The stairs were musical.  Amelia plunked out a song...

We headed to dinner after.
Seth picked Olive Garden.

Then....  after dinner, we went to Home Depot to pick up more paint and our flooring for the bedrooms and halls upstairs.  Yes, our RV doubled as a delivery truck too.

SIXTEEN!

A few years ago Eric and I were told to prepare ourselves for the very likely possibility that Seth was not going to come back home from state custody.  We did all we could to love and support our son.  Today he is truly our miracle!  He is with us, part of our family!
I am grateful for every day with this young man!
